William Couig, the designer/maker of FurthurDesign, creates handmade modern glass objects, lighting and functional glassware consisting of contemporary shapes and modern designs with an eye towards the future. Created using traditional techniques, the designs utilize the natural attributes of glass to bring contemporary ideas to realization.

In addition to his own work, William also makes custom work for a variety of clients like Eleven Madison Park, the NoMad Hotels and Calvin Klein Home.
